Edcot Coop Gin first opened in 1935 as Edroy Cooperative Gin Company. Over time we have grown to be one of the largest gins in the country. Our goal is to earn our producer’s business by maximizing our net benefit to grow by operating an efficient gin while still delivering a quality service and optimizing the marketability of our products.

Job Description:

As an operations assistant you would be tasked with aiding in the day-to-day operations in the gin and office. It is not required that you know the ins and outs of the gin, but it will be crucial for you to learn our maintenance programs as time goes on. Eventually you would need to be knowledgeable enough to know the flow of cotton in the gin, track our efficiency and choke points and record downtime. In addition to the gin, a large part of our business relies on trucks and the logistic and upkeep of the trucks. Off season is 48 hours a week, in season is 84 hours a week.

Requirements:

Excel and word are a minimum. Knowing programming, ladder logic, and welding is a plus. We are a drug and alcohol-free workplace.
